Style for the Modern Man

Style for the Modern Man

Today I'm going to tackle an interesting topic for some guys.  Men's style... You may be thinking "well, what makes Trevor think he knows more about style than me?" and to that I would say SHUT YOUR FACE..... Totally kidding.. kinda...maybe.  I may not be the poster child for men's fashion, but I have read blogs and follow enough fashionable dudes on the gram to at least give some advice to the guys who are feeling tired of their wardrobe and want to ball on a budget.

So heres the thing.. Ever hear the quote "keep it significant but simple?" If you haven't, know that I said it first.  This quote rings true when it comes to men's fashion.  Minimal and simple pieces look SO CLEAN!  It's not about buying the most expensive name brand items you can find.  Half of my closet is from Forever 21, Zara, and HM.  Of course there are a few more expensive pieces or staple items sprinkled in there but for the most part my outfits average less than $20 an item!

If you follow me on Instagram (Twfrank111, do it now :) ) a majority of my outfits consist of denim jeans, sneakers, and some form of t-shirt with nice accessories added.  IT'S THAT SIMPLE.  I would recommend buying some basic pieces that can go with nearly every outfit.  White sneakers, chelsea boots, biker jackets, well fitted t-shirts, and nicely fitted jeans that aren't too tight.  If you're like me and have decent sized legs (Not huge but decent) then the jeans aspect might be a little difficult.  Currently I wear Levis stretch denim, they fit great around my legs, booty, and calves.

These combined with things like watches, bracelets, necklaces, and sunglasses will typically round out for a nice look!

Jeans- Levi's

Jacket- Macy's

Shirt- HM

Necklace- My Intent

Watch- Aldo
